* Grid backup needs to be wired in, this is not the same as 'islanding' and is limited to specific circuitry on your switchboard. The grid backup is limited to 10kW of power. Typical costs for installation is $500 but will depend on your specific circumstances.

+ Prices are calculated including the battery rebate at $320 per usable kWh of storage and a standard installation cost of $2,555. Usable capacity is deemed as installed capacity multiplied by discharge depth (i.e. 28.6kWh installed capacity, with discharge depth of 95% = total usable capacity is 27.17kWh).
