Accreditation and safety

The system meets all Australian electrical and safety standards, and is:

  • Clean Energy Council (CEC) accredited
  • Australian grid compliant
  • Internationally certified hardware (ISO and IEC)
  • Installed by qualified installers
  • Supported locally: we're here when you need us

The CNTE batteries use Lithium FerroPhosphate (LFP) cells manufactured by CATL, which are also chemically stable.

With this set up, you can:

  • Store excess solar power and use it at night
  • Cut your electricity bills with intelligent control and optimisation
  • Track usage, export and savings in the Vultra app
  • Gain energy independence, with full visibility and control
  • If wired in, it can protect your home from grid outages*

*If you're interested in grid backup, we can arrange for this as part of the installation. The typical cost for this is $500.

Your energy system should work for you, not the other way around.
Energy, Optimised.

We started Vultra to make smart energy simple.

Our platform connects certified hardware with intelligent software, so homeowners can take control of their energy, reduce grid reliance, and see every watt in real time.

Why choose us?

Customer stories

We've seen customers saving from $100 to $200 per month, meaning the payback on a system can be achieved within 2-3 years. Actual savings vary depending on household consumption, solar panel system size, electricity tariff, and lifestyle.

Shona, Mount Eliza VIC (AU) Shona installed a 28.6kWh Yopshopo battery, combined with a 6kW solis inverter in March 2025, coupling it up to an existing 6.6 kW solar system. She has since saved over $1,200 on her energy bills, that's an average of $150 a month.
Shami, Cranbourne North, VIC (AU) Shami installed a 20.5kWh CNTE three phase battery, combined with a high voltage three phase inverter. This was coupled up to an existing 13.2kW solar system. Shami's running a heat pump for her pool, and has higher than average consumption. Her last two monthly energy bills were just $8 and $15 respectively. Since mid-June, she's saved $760.
Salim, Thornbury, South Glos. (UK) Salim didn't have any Solar, and didn't want to install any. He wanted to make the most of of something called "pricing arbitrage" - charging the battery from the grid at cheap times, and then using it at expensive times. He installed a 14.3kWh CNTE battery, with 5kW Solis inverter and set up the visualisation and control in the Vultra app.

Frequently asked questions

I've never heard of CNTE, who are they?

CNTE is a brand of batteries manufactured in China. They are internationally accredited, operate in multiple different countries and have recently entered the Australian market, partnering with Vultra.

Does the price include installation?

Yes. The price includes the cost of installation.

You'll be asked to book your installation date with a local installer after purchasing the battery. The installation is included in the above cost.

The installers will need to asses your specific circumstances, and may need to charge extra if the installation is not standard.

Standard installation includes:

  • Battery + inverter mounting
  • Wiring & setup
  • System commissioning
  • Vultra app onboarding

Additional costs may apply if:

  • Switchboard upgrades are required
  • Site access is limited
  • Custom backup circuits are requested

We’ll guide you through every step and an installer assessment happens before final cost is confirmed.

Does the price include the rebate?

Yes. The batteries are accredited under the Clean Energy Council and therefore they are eligible for the government's battery scheme rebate. This is included in the price you're shown.

Do I need solar panels already?

Our system works with existing solar or can be installed with new panels. If you don't already have panels installed, and are interested in installing them, book a callback and we'll talk you through the process.

Can I use it without an app?

You can, but we're not sure why you would!

The system can be set up to be used without a smartphone app, we'll set your system to automatically optimise the energy on site.

However, without the app, you won't be able to contact our support team or see any savings or usage information.

Is finance available?

This will largely depend on your specific circumstances. If you'd like to discuss finance options, book a callback with one of the team.

Still not sure?

That's OK, we know you probably have questions, and our team are here to help.

If you'd like to speak to someone, we're very happy to listen. If you want to buy a battery, that's even better 😉
